It was sizzle, spice and everything nice. With the incomparable Stef Senior on my team, this was the room where it happened: my gateway into sound design. The music; a clashing of generations from choral catholic influence, to the Spanish Flamenco of Lorca’s time, to the very present electronic music of 2024 and Rachel Schuldt cello-ing all over. With a full femme creative team, Emilio included, this was a utopia that I compare all theater experiences to. I mean, how often do you get to bring the logic session into the rehearsal room and bake the music right into the choreography. The vibes were vibing.
